John Nurminen Prima is a family company based in Finland with a long tradition of caring for works of art. Its roots go back to 1886 when John Nurminen, who was passionate about art, founded a trading house and shipping company in Rauma.

Our company continues to go from strength to strength. In 2008, we started our cooperation with Gerlach Art Packers and Shippers and this renowned art transport company is now sailing under the flag of John Nurminen Prima.

Our core business area is fine art logistics, including art transport and storage, packing and crating, and a range of additional services from condition assessment to conservation. We also have two special exhibition departments: Exhibition Consultancy – which provides a wide range of exhibition services to museums and exhibition venues, and Touring Exhibitions – which creates and markets high-quality touring exhibitions.
